Gil Kessler, a trans man played by American cis male actor John Schuck, is an offensive and ridiculous caricature of trans men.

Jack's Summary:

Gil Kessler's transition and gender identity is played as a joke. From the beginning of the episode, a main character states that she could tell something was "wrong" with Gil, and this is apparently confirmed when he outs himself as a transsexual, needlessly revealing his birth name to a room of people and bringing up his surgical transition for absolutely no reason. He is characterised as wimpy and weak, the implication being that he is neither a real man nor a particularly impressive one. His sole purpose is to be the object of disgust, amusement, and mystery. After Gil outs himself, one of the main characters fixates on what bottom surgery Gil has had, with another character joking that his genitalia is made of "silly putty". This is an offensive depiction of a trans man.
