Kei, a trans man played by Japanese trans male actor Chihaya Kadota, finds that he has different goals to his non-binary partner Erin, played by Australian non-binary actor Mariella Kai (alternatively referred to as Kai Pacey). Kei wishes to live in rural Japan, whereas Erin wants to live in Tokyo city.
